What Can You Bring?

Sunscreen has to be non-aerosol. You can bring in a factory sealed bottle of water (20 oz max) or an empty refillable water bottle. Hydroflasks and yetis aren't allowed (think no hard containers). You can bring towels to sit on or small blankets. You cannot bring chairs into this festival.

Festival Approved Bags

Clear backpacks can be brought in as long as they are 12" x 6" x 12" or smaller. You can also bring in clear drawstring bags that are 16" x 13" or smaller. Clear totes can be brought in that are 12" x 6" x 12" or smaller. They allow small fanny packs and other small bags and purses. Mesh bags, cooler bags, and hydration packs are not permitted. The Experience

Welcome to Rockville is held at the amazing Daytona Internal Speedway in Daytona Beach, FL. Spenning four days the festival also has a special Wednesday night set for campers bringing the camping tickets to 5 days of live music.

What do the different ticket levels mean? There's general admission tickets which permit access to the floor on the main and side stages. The VIP tickets allow access to the general admission areas and also the VIP area. The VIP area has upgraded amenities and viewing areas. The Daytona's Owner Club has additional upgrades from the VIP tickets.

Must have tips for Welcome to Rockville? You're permitted to bring in a sealed waterbottle or empty water bottle. We recommend bringing one in with you so you can get free water at the various fountains throughout the stadium. You are permitted to bring a towel or small blanket in to sit on. And we recommend bringing a poncho in case it rains. Worried about having to carry things throughout the festival? You can bring in a bag and there's also lockers for rent. History

In 2013 the festival expanded to two days and in 2018 it was expanded to three days. The year after it was moved to Daytona Beach, FL from Jacksonville.

When the pandemic hit in 2020 Welcome to Rockville was cancelled with promises it would return in 2021. While the festival is normally held in the spring in 2021 it was held in the fall and was expanded to four days. The festival was considered the largest rock festival in the US that year.

In 2022 the festival moved back to it's May dates. Welcome to Rockville kicks off the festival season for Promotor Danny Wimmer Presents (DWP) who also hosts a variety of other rock and music festivals across the US.
