What Can You Bring?

The campgrounds has different requirements on what can and cannot be brought into the camping area.

In the Festival Itself: The festival allows you to bring a variety of things to sit on including folding chairs as long as they are not in a bag and towels and blankets. They also allow soft-sided coolers to be brought in as long as there's no ice being brought in with them. Empty water bottles and mugs are also permitted.

Festival Approved Bags

The campgrounds has different requirements for bags than the actual festival. In the campgrounds you are permitted to have solid bags.

In the Festival itself: Bags are required to be clear for the festival, but are not limited by size according to their published policies. But we recommend making sure your bag is a reasonable size for a festival. Bags that are not clear are not permitted unless they are 7" x 5" or smaller. Camelback backpacks are permitted as long as they are empty.

The Experience

Rock Fest is held on 360 acres in Cadott Wisconsin. If you're a three day ticket holder you'll get a bonus fourth day added to the lineup. The festival has 5 stages and multiple campgrounds. There's a variety of different viewing areas and ticket levels that range from shaded seating platforms to pit passes.

There are three campgrounds at Rock Fest. The North, West, and South Campgrounds. The campgrounds range in amenities and location. The North and West Campgrounds are across the street from the festival grounds while the South Campgrounds are on the same side of the street as the campground. When selecting your camping package on the website you'll be able to see if your site has access to electric and other extras.

What do the different festival ticket levels mean? There's general admission tickets which can be purchased as single day tickets or for the whole weekend. There's upgraded ticketing that ranges from designated lawn seats to pit access.

Must have tips for Rock Fest? You're permitted to bring in camelbacks or similar backpacks, towels and blankets to sit on, empty waterbottles and mugs, and soft sided coolers. We recommend bringing a poncho in case it rains. Worried about having to carry things throughout the festival? You can bring in a bag as long as they meet the requirements
