What Can You Bring?

The campgrounds has different requirements on what can and cannot be brought into the camping area.

In the festival itself: Sunscreen has to be non-aerosol. You can bring in a factory sealed bottle of water (20 oz max) or an empty refillable water bottle. Hydroflasks and yetis aren't allowed (think no hard containers). You can bring towels to sit on. You cannot bring chairs into this festival.

Festival Approved Bags

The campgrounds has different requirements on what can and cannot be brought into the camping area.

In the festival itself: Clear backpacks can be brought in as long as they are 12" x 6" x 12" or smaller. You can also bring in clear drawstring bags that are 16" x 13" or smaller. Clear totes can be brought in that are 12" x 6" x 12" or smaller. They allow small fanny packs and other small bags and purses. Mesh bags, cooler bags, and hydration packs are not permitted. The Experience

The festival is held at Highland Festival Grounds and has three stages. In addition to the music the festival has bourbon tasting bars and a wine station!

There are a variety of camping options at Bourbon and Beyond. Camping includes RV, Tent, Car, and Glamping options. The camping areas are located by the festival grounds so you can easily walk to the festival.

What do the different ticket levels mean? The general admission tickets give you access to the festival, all three stages, and the big bourbon bar! The VIP tickets give you access to all the general admission areas and the elevated amenities including the VIP lounge.

Must have tips for Bourbon and Beyond? This festival is all about music and bourbon! If you don't want to carry your gear around there will be lockers to rent. You'll want to make sure you check out all of the different tasting areas and types of bourbon you can try!

You're guaranteed to get an amazing experience at this festival. It falls the weekend before DWP's Louder Than Life Festival which is also held in Louisville, KY. Starting in 2017 Bourbon and Beyond took a 2 year break for the pandemic and made it's way back on the festival scene in 2022.
